Tiatr EKSURO

Was the second (of the 30) in the ongoing 37th Tiatr Competition organised by Kala Academy of Goa. (Support by Tiatr Academy, TAG). Staged on 12th Sept. 2011.
This tiatr talks about mining problems.
The Illegal mining activities in Goa with the blessing of politicians.
Minister tries to buy the activists and their supporters..
‘Soon, you will be on your own’ is the message this tiatr tries to give to corrupt politicians.
It had about 10 songs. Most songs sung by the drama actors (main play) themselves such as Feliciana, Nicolas, Francis, Gloria, Cristo etc. Besides, there were other singers, Blancy, Shanice, Franky, Savia and the playright Jack de Vasco (Joaquim Fernandes).
‘Goemkar’ a song sung by Gloria Ferrao was the best so far.
Comedy role also supported by Wilson Vaz, Casmir D’Souza.
Other actors are Eva Correia, Celistin Fernandes (Marcel) etc.
Tiatr was good with good message but looks like it needed more practice or rehearsals as there were several FDs , FLs, OB/OVs*
Also, don’t remember watching ‘Chouko’ or quartet which, I believe, is a must in the competition.
