‘Don’t spoil your children by giving them more than the necessary’ was the message we got today from Tiatr MHOJE PORIM KORINAKAT by Romaldo Estrocio.
Father in this case, gives his son more than he asked for. Mother tries to put in some sense, but all in vein. End results being the son turned into a drug addict for which he would do anything even if he had to beat his sister for money or snatch gold chain from his mother’s neck.
Father in the end admits it was his entire fault and advises us not to do the same (as he did)Son’s role well played by the playwright himself Mr. Romaldo Estrocio, his sister role also well played by Maria Estrocio, his mother by Martha D'Souza and father’s by Minguel do Rosario.
Supported by Lorento D'Silva as cousin brother and Ashley as college friend.Comedy part played by Sucorina Fernandes and young Leslie Rodrigues whom we saw as a singer in the past.
The tiatr had about 14 songs
Sung by Joe Rose, Felcy, Jr. Reagan, Cajetan de Curtorim, Martha, Maria, Lorento, Shalifa Pereira, Marcelino Rodrigues (M.Rod), Romaldo Estrocio etc. Child singers were Shayna D' Mello, Myron Estrocio & Cresilda Mascarenhas.
Jr. Reagan (Teddy bear) , Felcy (Azilant), Cajetan-Shalifa (father-daughter duet) were some of the best.
Band by Vitorin/Agnelo Dias
